Alba is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 11 seasons, 12 years, 2 countries and 69 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2010 in Madrid, where she raced the 25 freestyle in 27.04. She started out alongside C.N. LEGANES.
Her signature event is the 100 backstroke, the event she has raced the most, followed by the 100 freestyle and 50 freestyle. Backstroke is where her specialisation lies (25 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (42 meets and 52 recorded swims spread across 6 different distances) because she races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
Her fastest 100 backstroke stands at 1:23.01, set in long course (50 m) at M86_madrid.
After a 2-year break between 2010 and 2012, she came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2012. 2015 is the busiest season on record, with 24 verified individual swims.
She is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (Spain and UNK), including 3 of 69 meets outside Spain.
She has raced for C.N. CIUDAD DE ALCORCON and C.N. LEGANES.
Latest competition: Leganés+Móstoles (MADRID) in Madrid, on October 24, 2021, with 1 swim: 35.00 in the 50 butterfly, all in short course (25 m). She closes this record with 32 current event personal bests and 150 all-time PB improvements, across 131 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
