Alba is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 17 seasons, 18 years, 2 countries and 163 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2009 in Sant Andreu, where she raced the 25 backstroke in 36.90. She started out alongside C.N. L´ HOSPITALET.
Her signature event is the 100 breaststroke, the event she has raced the most, followed by the 200 breaststroke and 200 freestyle. Breaststroke is where her specialisation lies (88 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (124 meets and 211 recorded swims spread across 7 different distances) because she races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
Her fastest 100 breaststroke stands at 1:20.25, set in long course (50 m) at Terrassa.
After a 2-year break between 2010 and 2012, she came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2012. 2013 is the busiest season on record, with 52 verified individual swims.
She is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (Spain and UNK), including 12 of 162 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 22 different venues (Barcelona, Cornellà, Hospitalet and Terrassa…). She has raced for Club Esportiu Mediterrani, C.N. ATLETIC-BARCELONETA, C.N. L´ HOSPITALET and C.N. CORNELLA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. The last race on record is dated October 17, 2026 in Barcelona, with 2 swims: 2:38.81 in the 200 individual medley and 4:46.20 in the 400 freestyle, all in short course (25 m). She holds 38 current event personal bests and 255 all-time PB improvements across 429 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and World Aquatics.
