Alberto is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 17 seasons, 5 countries and 166 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2010, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 25 breaststroke in 26.16, raced in A_lc Benj/pben 3aj/2aj cem 101. He started out alongside C.N. BARCELONA.
His signature event is the 200 backstroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley. Backstroke is where his specialisation lies (83 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (95 meets and 158 recorded swims spread across 7 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 200 backstroke stands at 2:00.36, set in long course (50 m) at Sabadell.
The record runs unbroken from 2010 to 2026: 17 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2019 is the busiest season on record, with 77 verified individual swims.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 5 countries (Spain, BUL, CYP, Italy and Monaco), including 4 of 166 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 21 different venues (Barcelona, Terrassa, Sabadell and Sant Andreu…). He has raced for C.N. SANT ANDREU, C.N. BARCELONA and FED. CATALUÑA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. Latest competition: Taranto (ITA), on August 24, 2026. He holds 40 current event personal bests and 388 all-time PB improvements across 597 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
