Alberto is a swimmer from Spain, a collegiate competitor, whose official competitive record spans 12 seasons and 128 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2011, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 50 butterfly in 31.09, raced in Cádiz. He started out alongside UNIVERSIDAD DE GRANADA.
His signature event is the 200 individual medley, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke. Individual medley is where his specialisation lies (69 meets), while breaststroke appears in more meets (74 meets and 145 recorded swims) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 200 individual medley stands at 2:15.38, set in long course (50 m) at Málaga.
The record runs unbroken from 2011 to 2022: 12 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2012 is the busiest season on record, with 78 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 6 different venues (Granada, Málaga, Cádiz and Barcelona…). He has raced for UNIVERSIDAD DE GRANADA.
Latest competition: TORREMOLINOS, on July 3, 2022, with 2 swims: 1:02.23 in the 100 backstroke and 1:02.32 in the 100 backstroke, all in long course (50 m). He closes this record with 30 current event personal bests and 233 all-time PB improvements, across 499 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
