Alejandro is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 8 seasons, 13 years, 2 countries and 18 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2013, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 100 butterfly in 1:28.18, raced in Nampa.
His signature event is the 50 freestyle, his reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 15 meets and 27 recorded swims.

After a 5-year break between 2016 and 2021, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2021.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (the United States and Spain), including 13 of 18 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 9 different venues (Redding, Wichita, Woodland and Nampa…). He has raced for 5 clubs, led by Detroit Recreation Swim Team, McAllen Swim Club, Liberal High School and Shasta YMCA Sharks.
