Andrea is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 13 seasons, 15 years, 3 countries and 93 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2012 in Arroyo Grande, where she raced the 500 freestyle in 7:40.46.
Her signature event is the 100 freestyle, her reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 66 meets and 101 recorded swims.
Her fastest 100 freestyle stands at 1:04.63, set in long course (50 m) at IN NASA Prelims/Finals Invitational.
Her record includes international meets, between 2019 and 2021 (WI SWAT Summer Grand Prix and 2021 WI SWAT Summer Grand Prix). A representative mark at that level is 34.64 in the 50 butterfly, recorded in long course (50 m).
After a 3-year break between 2012 and 2015, she came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2015.
She is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 3 countries (the United States, Spain and Switzerland), including 56 of 93 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 28 different venues (Pleasant Prairie, Ocala, Genève and St. John…). She has raced for 8 clubs, led by McHenry Marlins Aquatic Club, Freeport Aquatic Swim Team, Reach Aquatics Swim Club and Sage YMCA of Metro Chicago / McHenry County YMCA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. The last race on record is dated May 17, 2026. She holds 37 current event personal bests and 160 all-time PB improvements across 239 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and NCAA.
