Calvin is a swimmer from the United States, a distance freestyler and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 4 seasons, 4 countries and 14 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2016, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 1500 freestyle in 15:49.27, raced in East Meadow.
His signature event is the 400 freestyle, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 14 meets and 40 recorded swims.
His fastest 400 freestyle stands at 3:54.63, set in long course (50 m) at Philipps 66 USA National Championships (50m).
His record includes the World Cup circuit, between 2016 and 2018 (FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup 2016 and FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup 2017). A representative mark at that level is 3:54.81 in the 400 freestyle, recorded in short course (25 m). He also appears in national championships and international meets.
The record runs unbroken from 2016 to 2019: 4 consecutive seasons without a single missing year.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 4 countries (the United States, China, Hungary and Singapore), including 3 of 14 meets outside the United States.
Those meets span 10 different venues (Santa Clara, Irvine, Palo Alto and Moraga…).
