C.N. Sabadell · ESP
Carles is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 15 seasons, 9 countries and 166 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2012, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 200 backstroke in 2:15.34, raced in Caceres. He started out alongside C.N. TARRACO.
His signature event is the 100 breaststroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 200 breaststroke and 100 freestyle. Breaststroke is where his specialisation lies (100 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (102 meets and 200 recorded swims spread across 8 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 100 breaststroke stands at 58.25, set in long course (50 m) at 33rd Copa de Espana de Clubes Division Honor.
His record includes world championships, in 2019 (7th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2019). A representative mark at that level is 1:03.33 in the 100 breaststroke, recorded in long course (50 m). He also appears in continental championships.
The record runs unbroken from 2012 to 2026: 15 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2018 is the busiest season on record, with 96 verified individual swims.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 9 countries (Spain, the United States, Hungary, Italy, Australia, Poland, RUS, Singapore and Japan), including 26 of 166 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 29 different venues (Tarragona, Barcelona, Sabadell and Terrassa…). He has raced for C.N. SABADELL, FED. CATALUÑA and C.N. TARRACO.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. Latest competition: Sacramento (USA), on May 23, 2026, with 2 swims: 1:00.82 in the 100 breaststroke and 1:01.47 in the 100 breaststroke, all in long course (50 m). He holds 38 current event personal bests and 407 all-time PB improvements across 700 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and World Aquatics.
