Carlos is a swimmer from Spain whose official competitive record spans 10 seasons and 111 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2015, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 1500 freestyle in 18:44.97, raced that season. He started out alongside CD ACUATICO LEON.
His signature event is the 200 individual medley, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle. Individual medley is where his specialisation lies (53 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (71 meets and 80 recorded swims spread across 5 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 200 individual medley stands at 2:15.33, set in long course (50 m) at Torremolinos.
The record runs unbroken from 2015 to 2024: 10 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2019 is the busiest season on record, with 53 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 4 different venues (Valladolid, Gijón, Madrid and Tarragona). He has raced for FED. CASTILLA-LEON NATACION, CD ACUATICO LEON and C.N. LEON.
The last race on record is dated June 30, 2024 in Valladolid, with 2 swims: 58.55 in the 100 freestyle and 2:22.41 in the 200 individual medley, all in long course (50 m). He closes this record with 31 current event personal bests and 302 all-time PB improvements, across 329 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
