Angelica is a swimmer from the United States, a sprinter and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 9 seasons, 10 years, 2 countries and 74 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2008, and one of her earliest marks still on file is the 100 individual medley in 1:02.25, raced in 2011 Nt Cops Tags Short Course.
Her signature event is the 100 freestyle, her reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 58 meets and 108 recorded swims.
Her fastest 100 freestyle stands at 59.16, set in long course (50 m) at Southern Zone Championships.
Her record includes international meets, in 2014 (2014 BD Aqua Posse International). A representative mark at that level is 1:25.37 in the 100 breaststroke, recorded in long course (50 m).
After a 2-year break between 2009 and 2011, she came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2011.
She is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (the United States and Türkiye), including 2 of 74 meets outside the United States.
Those meets span 18 different venues (El Paso, Austin, William W. Cowan Poo and Lubbock…). She has raced for 5 clubs, led by Desert Shark Swim Club, Southwest Aquatic Team, Border Swimming Team and Franklin High School (TX).
The last race on record is dated February 23, 2017. She closes this record with 28 current event personal bests and 77 all-time PB improvements, across 217 verified official swims.
