Daniel is a swimmer from Spain whose official competitive record spans 9 seasons, 15 years and 66 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2010, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 200 breaststroke in 2:59.70, raced in Madrid. He started out alongside C.N. MADRID MOSCARDO.
His signature event is the 100 backstroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke. Backstroke is where his specialisation lies (41 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (46 meets and 103 recorded swims spread across 6 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 100 backstroke stands at 1:02.19, set in long course (50 m) at Pontevedra.
After a 7-year break between 2015 and 2022, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2022. 2012 is the busiest season on record, with 59 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 7 different venues (Madrid, Palma, Gijón and Barcelona…). He has raced for C.N. MADRID MOSCARDO and C. TENIS CHAMARTIN.
The last race on record is dated July 5, 2024 in Castellón, with 1 swim: 1:09.03 in the 100 backstroke, all in long course (50 m). He closes this record with 33 current event personal bests and 151 all-time PB improvements, across 246 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
