ESP
Enrique is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 22 seasons, 23 years, 2 countries and 169 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2004, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 50 butterfly in 29.37, raced in Madrid. He started out alongside C.N. MIRASIERRA.
His signature event is the 100 butterfly, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 50 butterfly and 400 freestyle. Butterfly is where his specialisation lies (70 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (100 meets and 191 recorded swims spread across 7 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 100 butterfly stands at 1:02.44, set in long course (50 m) at M86_madrid.
After a 2-year break between 2019 and 2021, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2021. 2010 is the busiest season on record, with 85 verified individual swims.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (Spain and UNK), including 9 of 169 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 9 different venues (Madrid, Granada, Málaga and Oviedo…). He has raced for C.D. TOLEDO MONTEVERDE, C.N. CIUDAD DE MURCIA, C.D.N. INACUA MALAGA and C.N. MIRASIERRA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. The last race on record is dated July 4, 2026 in Logroño, with 1 swim: 5:27.72 in the 400 individual medley, all in long course (50 m). He holds 37 current event personal bests and 179 all-time PB improvements across 598 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
