Gabriel is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 12 seasons, 13 years, 4 countries and 86 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2014, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 50 freestyle in 39.70, raced in Hamilton Aquatics Development.
His signature event is the 100 freestyle, his reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 66 meets and 114 recorded swims.

After a 2-year break between 2014 and 2016, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2016.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 4 countries (the United States, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico), including 73 of 86 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 26 different venues (Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Fresno and Paradise Valley…). He has raced for 8 clubs, led by Piranha Swim Team (Inactive), Hamilton Aquatics Dubai, Charger Aquatics and Long Island City High School.
