Ivan is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter, whose official competitive record spans 16 seasons and 184 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2011, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 800 freestyle in 12:31.87, raced in Valladolid. He started out alongside C.D. NATACION MEDINENSE.
His signature event is the 100 breaststroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 200 individual medley and 100 freestyle. Breaststroke is where his specialisation lies (107 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (117 meets and 157 recorded swims spread across 8 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 100 breaststroke stands at 1:08.10, set in long course (50 m) at Valladolid.
The record runs unbroken from 2011 to 2026: 16 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2016 is the busiest season on record, with 69 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 7 different venues (Valladolid, Salamanca, Madrid and Gijón…). He has raced for CLUB NATACION CIUDAD DE AVILA and C.D. NATACION MEDINENSE.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. The last race on record is dated October 18, 2026 in Valladolid, with 2 swims: 1:10.13 in the 100 backstroke and 2:29.73 in the 200 individual medley, all in long course (50 m). He holds 37 current event personal bests and 407 all-time PB improvements across 612 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
