Juan is a swimmer from Spain, a sprinter, whose official competitive record spans 14 seasons, 15 years and 159 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2012, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 800 freestyle in 9:28.67, raced in Almeria. He started out alongside C.N. ALCANTARILLA.
His signature event is the 100 backstroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 200 backstroke and 200 freestyle. Backstroke is where his specialisation lies (101 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (119 meets and 219 recorded swims spread across 8 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 100 backstroke stands at 1:01.02, set in long course (50 m) at Castellón.
After a 2-year break between 2021 and 2023, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2023. 2013 is the busiest season on record, with 103 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 11 different venues (Murcia, Castellón, Madrid and Barcelona…). He has raced for UCAM C.N. CIUDAD DE MURCIA-FUENSANTA and C.N. ALCANTARILLA.
