Maria is a swimmer from Spain whose official competitive record spans 10 seasons and 89 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2017, and one of her earliest marks still on file is the 25 freestyle in 23.22, raced in Avila. She started out alongside CLUB NATACION RIO ADAJA.
Her signature event is the 100 breaststroke, the event she has raced the most, followed by the 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley. Breaststroke is where her specialisation lies (38 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (60 meets and 72 recorded swims spread across 7 different distances) because she races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
Her fastest 100 breaststroke stands at 1:25.17, set in long course (50 m) at Valladolid.
The record runs unbroken from 2017 to 2026: 10 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2024 is the busiest season on record, with 42 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 2 different venues (Valladolid and Salamanca). She has raced for CLUB NATACION CIUDAD DE AVILA and CLUB NATACION RIO ADAJA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. The last race on record is dated June 28, 2026 in Valladolid, with 3 swims: 29.25 in the 50 freestyle, 1:03.44 in the 100 freestyle and 1:16.83 in the 100 butterfly, all in short course (25 m) and 1 PB improvement. She holds 34 current event personal bests and 211 all-time PB improvements across 208 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
