Mario is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 16 seasons, 2 countries and 198 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2011, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 2000 freestyle in 23:16.11, raced in Cartagena. He started out alongside C.N. ALCANTARILLA.
His signature event is the 50 breaststroke, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley. Breaststroke is where his specialisation lies (108 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (123 meets and 290 recorded swims spread across 8 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 50 breaststroke stands at 29.74, set in long course (50 m) at Elche.
The record runs unbroken from 2011 to 2026: 16 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2013 is the busiest season on record, with 119 verified individual swims.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 2 countries (Spain and UNK), including 3 of 198 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 9 different venues (Murcia, Castellón, Barcelona and Madrid…). He has raced for UCAM C.N. CIUDAD DE MURCIA-FUENSANTA, C.N. ALCANTARILLA, C.N. TENIS ELCHE and C.N. LORCA.
Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. His most recent recorded season is 2026. He holds 35 current event personal bests and 267 all-time PB improvements across 711 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
