PABLO MARTINEZ LOPEZ

ESP

Pablo is a swimmer from Spain, an international traveller on the circuit and a national-level swimmer, whose official competitive record spans 17 seasons, 20 years, 5 countries and 109 meets.

His recorded career begins in 2007, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 200 breaststroke in 3:06.67, raced in Betera.

His signature event is the 100 freestyle, his reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 69 meets and 129 recorded swims.

His fastest 100 freestyle stands at 54.11, set in long course (50 m) at Campeonato de Castilla-la Mancha Absoluto Verano 2025.

His record includes national championships, between 2023 and 2025 (Campeonato Regional de Castilla-La Mancha Absoluto y Grupo de Edad 2023 and Spanish Trials 2024). A representative mark at that level is 54.11 in the 100 freestyle, recorded in long course (50 m). He also appears in international meets.

After a 4-year break between 2010 and 2014, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2014.

He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 5 countries (Spain, the United States, Switzerland, Lithuania and Slovakia), including 26 of 109 meets outside Spain.

Those meets span 17 different venues (El Paso, Geneva, Tampa and Orlando…). He has raced for 8 clubs, led by Spire Swim Club, ALBACETE SWIM, Coronado High School (El Paso) and Bolles School Sharks.

Still active: the directory includes official activity in the 2026 season. Latest competition: BBA vs. SPIRE, on May 9, 2026. He holds 47 current event personal bests and 151 all-time PB improvements across 264 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and World Aquatics.
