Pol is a swimmer from Spain, a distance freestyler and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 17 seasons, 6 countries and 202 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2007, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 200 butterfly in 2:19.55, raced in Cornellà. He started out alongside C.N. VALLIRANA.
His signature event is the 400 individual medley, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 400 freestyle and 1500 freestyle. Individual medley is where his specialisation lies (114 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (161 meets and 517 recorded swims spread across 9 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 400 individual medley stands at 4:23.06, set in long course (50 m) at Campeonato de España Absoluto de invierno.
His record includes national championships, between 2018 and 2022 (Spanish Summer Junior National Championships (50m) and Campeonato de España Absoluto de invierno). A representative mark at that level is 4:23.06 in the 400 individual medley, recorded in long course (50 m). He also appears in international meets.
The record runs unbroken from 2007 to 2023: 17 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2013 is the busiest season on record, with 211 verified individual swims.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 6 countries (Spain, France, Belgium, RUS, Japan and the Netherlands), including 9 of 202 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 34 different venues (Barcelona, Sabadell, Terrassa and Mataró…). He has raced for UCAM C.N. CIUDAD DE MURCIA-FUENSANTA, C.E. MEDITERRANI, C.N. BARCELONA and C.N. VALLIRANA.
The last race on record is dated July 8, 2023 in Mataró, with 1 swim: 4:40.78 in the 400 individual medley, all in long course (50 m). He closes this record with 34 current event personal bests and 378 all-time PB improvements, across 982 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and World Aquatics.
