Pol is a swimmer from Spain, a distance freestyler and an international traveller on the circuit, whose official competitive record spans 17 seasons, 6 countries and 250 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2007, and one of his earliest marks still on file is the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.19, raced in 4lcom Molins De Rei.
His signature event is the 400 freestyle, his reference distance in freestyle, ahead of the 200 freestyle and 1500 freestyle. Freestyle is the backbone of the whole record: 206 meets and 602 recorded swims.
His best 400 freestyle time in long course (50 m) is 4:00.54, set in 2019 at Mataró.
His record includes national championships, in 2022 (Campeonato de España Absoluto de invierno). A representative mark at that level is 4:23.06 in the 400 individual medley, recorded in long course (50 m).
The record runs unbroken from 2007 to 2023: 17 consecutive seasons without a single missing year.
He is a genuinely international swimmer: the official record spans 6 countries (Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, RUS and Japan), including 14 of 250 meets outside Spain.
Those meets span 56 different venues (Barcelona, Sabadell, Terrassa and Mataró…). He has raced for 6 clubs, led by Spanish Swimming Federation, Club Natacion Fuensanta, UCAM C.N. CIUDAD DE MURCIA-FUENSANTA and Club Esportiu Mediterrani.
Latest competition: Terrassa, on February 3, 2023. He closes this record with 40 current event personal bests and 403 all-time PB improvements, across 1093 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN and World Aquatics.
