Sergio is a swimmer from Spain whose official competitive record spans 6 seasons, 8 years and 41 meets.
His recorded career begins in 2009 in Madrid, where he raced the 25 freestyle in 18.24. He started out alongside C.N. ALCORCON.
His signature event is the 200 individual medley, the event he has raced the most, followed by the 100 backstroke and 400 individual medley. Individual medley is where his specialisation lies (19 meets), while freestyle appears in more meets (27 meets and 45 recorded swims spread across 8 different distances) because he races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
His fastest 200 individual medley stands at 2:18.16, set in long course (50 m) at A Coruña.
After a 3-year break between 2009 and 2012, he came back to racing and the record picks up again in 2012. 2015 is the busiest season on record, with 40 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 3 different venues (Madrid, Terrassa and A Coruña). He has raced for C.D. GREDOS SAN DIEGO and C.N. ALCORCON.
Latest competition: M86_MADRID in Madrid, on April 10, 2016, with 3 swims: 26.69 in the 50 freestyle, 1:16.16 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:24.31 in the 200 backstroke, all in long course (50 m) and 3 PB improvements. He closes this record with 35 current event personal bests and 168 all-time PB improvements, across 140 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
