ESP
Sofia is a swimmer from Spain whose official competitive record spans 11 seasons and 87 meets.
Her recorded career begins in 2012, and one of her earliest marks still on file is the 50 breaststroke in 49.22, raced in Madrid. She started out alongside C.D. EL VALLE.
Her signature event is the 100 butterfly, the event she has raced the most, followed by the 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly. Butterfly is where her specialisation lies (44 meets), while backstroke appears in more meets (45 meets and 65 recorded swims) because she races it across the full distance range rather than as a main event.
Her fastest 100 butterfly stands at 1:13.57, set in long course (50 m) at M86_madrid.
The record runs unbroken from 2012 to 2022: 11 consecutive seasons without a single missing year. 2017 is the busiest season on record, with 42 verified individual swims.
Those meets span 4 different venues (Madrid, Murcia, Castellón and A Coruña). She has raced for C.D. EL VALLE.
Latest competition: RIVAS VACIAMADRID_MADRID in Madrid, on October 15, 2022, with 2 swims: 36.72 in the 50 backstroke and 1:17.10 in the 100 individual medley, all in short course (25 m). She closes this record with 32 current event personal bests and 214 all-time PB improvements, across 242 verified official swims in competitions governed by RFEN.
